Chesapeake Beach Professional Seminars - Play Therapy, Filial Play, Therapist, Sand Tray Therapywas created in Chesapeake Beach, Maryland in 1995 to provide training for mental health providers. In 1997 the play therapy institute was added through the inspiration of Margaret Drury, LCSW-C, RPT-S. We offer over 150 hours of play therapy training and have added Sandtray and Art Interventions Tracks. CBPS is an approved provider for continuing education for social workers, psychologists, counselors, and play therapists.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Clinicians providing mental health services to children and adolescents may attend our trainings. Clinicians working with adults may also benefit from play therapy training. The trainings are recommended for students at the graduate level. We encourage participation of international students and clinicians. In the past we have had participants from Israel, Singapore, Mexico, and other areas.
